PostNL satisfied with agreements for TTO parcel sorters

The Hague, 8 November 2019 – Tempo Team Outsourcing (TTO) and FNV have reached a settlement regarding the staff employed by TTO to sort parcels at PostNL. PostNL has also made agreements concerning the transition from contracting to recruiting. PostNL is satisfied with this settlement because it gives peace of mind to all parties involved and allows PostNL to focus on further collaboration.

In February 2019, PostNL announced its decision to stop contracting and start working with temporary workers at parcel sorting centres. PostNL values the importance of equal pay for all parcel sorters and wants to provide clarity in the public debate about contracting. Temporary workers are paid in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for temporary workers (ABU Collective Labour Agreement) and therefore the user company remuneration in PostNL’s Collective Labour Agreement. A number of PostNL parcel sorting centres already work with temporary workers and the last parcel sorting centres will make the switch in 2020.
