The Hague, 20 December 2021 – The Supervisory Board of PostNL nominates Hannie Vlug as member of the Supervisory Board for a period of four years. The proposal to appoint her has been made in accordance with the enhanced recommendation right of the Central Works Council. The nomination will be scheduled for approval by the shareholders of PostNL at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in April 2022.

Hannie Vlug currently is chairwoman of the Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven, an organisation that brings together vocational education and business. Previously she held several managerial functions within the Dutch government, including as director employment relations and director sustainability. Also she has ample experience as supervisor in the public and private sector. Among others, she was member of the Supervisory Board of health insurer Zorg en Zekerheid and housing cooperative Woonzorg Nederland.
