The Hague, the Netherlands, 1 December 2021 – PostNL today announced that two members of its Executive Committee will be leaving the company. Resi Becker, Director of Mail in the Netherlands, has been appointed CEO of energy company Essent as from 1 February 2022. Chief Information Officer Marcel Krom has decided to steer his career in a new direction and will leave PostNL on 1 May 2022.
Herna Verhagen, PostNL’s CEO, said: “Our executive team has worked closely together for five years in the same configuration to successfully transform PostNL. In the coming period, we’ll be saying farewell to two colleagues with an “orange heart” who have made significant contributions to where we are today as a company. I’m very grateful for everything they’ve done in their long careers at PostNL and wish them both the best for the future.”
