The Hague, 26 February 2018 - The Supervisory Board of PostNL is pleased to announce the contemplated appointment of Pim Berendsen as new CFO of PostNL, following the announcement of 29 November 2017 that Jan Bos will step down as CFO. The Supervisory Board of PostNL intends appointing Pim Berendsen as CFO on 18 April 2018 for a period of four years after discussion at the 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 17 April 2018. The PostNL Central Works Council supports the contemplated appointment.
Pim Berendsen (44 years) is currently member of the Executive Committee of PostNL, responsible for International, M&A and growth. He joined PostNL in 2000 after a career as international tax advisor at Arthur Andersen and gained a broad experience in several business and finance roles across PostNL, both nationally and internationally. Between 2013 and 2015 he was director corporate development at Van Gansewinkel Group to return to PostNL in his current position. Over the years he successfully led multiple transformations and large transactions.

It is envisaged that the current responsibilities of Pim Berendsen will be divided amongst the members of the Executive Committee. More details about Pim Berendsen's experience and his remuneration will be published together with the agenda for the 2018 AGM on or before 6 March 2018. Jan Bos will leave PostNL effective 1 June 2018.
